Osteoporosis is a condition of decreased bone mass which leads to an increased risk for fractures. Despite the fact that osteoporosis can affect both men and women, it is generally known as a woman’s disease. Our osteoporosis program consists of 6 major components: body mechanics, flexibility, resistance/strength training, walking, balance training, and using adaptive equipment and bracing, if necessary.
