Meniere’s Disease

Physical Therapy - Meniere’s Disease

This disease disrupts the flow of fluid in the inner ear, causing accumulation and pressure on inner ear structures. Patients generally complain of a sensation of fullness, hearing loss, and tinnitus (noise) in the affected ear. Therapy focuses on education and management of attacks, as well as fully using the balance systems that are working properly, to compensate for the loss of function in the affected ear.
