Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Physical Therapy - Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Our physical therapists are knowledgeable about orthopedic surgeries because they spend time next to surgeons in the operating room to better understand the complexity of these surgeries. Post surgery is when physical therapy can be most useful. Our therapists teach patients exercises and stretches that specifically target muscles in the affected area, to improve function and decrease problems. They are also aware of any weight-bearing limitations and difficulties with range of motion and pay attention to these during treatment. All treatment plans are designed to promote full recovery to normal physical function.
