Stroke
Our occupational therapists are trained to help patients recuperating from a stroke return to as independent a life as possible. They can recommend adaptive equipment for the home that can aid patients in completing tasks such as dressing, bathing, and preparing meals. Our occupational therapists can also fabricate customized splints, as needed, to improve hand function. The goal is to rebuild the patient’s physical endurance and strength. Our therapists can provide extensive home training, to ensure carryover and maintenance of regained strength.
