Physical Therapy - Stroke

For most stroke patients, both physical and occupational therapy play an important role in recovery. In physical therapy, patients receive training, exercises, and physical manipulation of the affected parts of the body. Our therapists assign an individualized plan of care with the intent of restoring movement, balance, and coordination. They work one on one with stroke patients to help them relearn motor activities, such as walking, sitting, standing, lying down, and the process of switching from one type of movement to another.
